HOW ARE YOU ENSURING COVID-19 SAFETY?
Between bookings, the campervan will be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant products used on both hard and soft surfaces. All cushion covers, throw blankets and bedding will be washed with an in-wash laundry cleanser. All crockery, cutlery and cookware will be washed.
Social distancing will be adhered to at handover, which is why we will provide all renters with instructions prior to the start of the rental, as well as written instructions in the user guide which will be found in the campervan.
WHY DO YOU TAKE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
The refundable security deposit of £800 is taken as a precaution. If at the end of the rental, the campervan, fixtures, fittings, accessories, equipment etc is returned to us in the same condition as when you started your rental (taking into account fair wear and tear), the funds will be returned to you in full. Deductions might be made for fines you receive during the rental, extra cleaning, damage, loss, late return etc etc. For full details please refer to our Ts & Cs
WHAT IS PROVIDED?
Pretty much everything - including the kitchen sink! We have kitted Morvoren out to be a home-from-home experience; you'll find cosy blankets and comfy cushions as well as practical items such as a road map and other books to inspire your adVANtures. Please click here to view Morvoren’s full inventory. We charge for some optional extras (which are also listed on the inventory); you should request these at the time of booking.
Complimentary food items include welcome pasties, milk, tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, biscuits, salt & pepper, tomato ketchup and biscuits. Various food hampers can be ordered when booking - such as a Cornish breakfast hamper, romantic treats, Cornish cream tea, or give us a call to discuss a a custom made hamper to fit your requirements.
WHAT ABOUT BEDDING?
We can provide sleeping bags and camping pillows, or you are welcome to bring your own. We always provide mattress protectors and fitted bottom sheets for both beds.
WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE FOR ADVANTURERS WITH BABIES & YOUNG CHILDREN?
We will be delighted to kit Morvoren out with things that might make your packing more straight forward, such as the complimentary provision of infant/child crockery and cutlery, children's/baby sleeping bags, extra blankets, books, toys & games. If you arrive and realise you've only packed a single welly boot or left the baby carrier hanging on the back of the chair in your dining room 250 miles away, the chances are we will be able to rustle one up for you. We want you to have a stress free time. Always ask us; we will do our very best to help. We also have baby/ car seats available for hire (charges apply).
WHERE CAN WE TRAVEL IN THE CAMPERVAN?
You are free to roam throughout the UK. Travel in Europe is permitted, but must be with prior written agreement by us. Please contact us to discuss your travel plans before you book.
IS THERE A MILEAGE CAP?
For a short break of 2- 4 days' hire, the limit is 600 miles. For hire periods of 5 days or more, you may travel 1000 miles. In the instance that your mileage exceeds the limit for your hire period, a charge of 10 pence per extra mile will be levied, and will be deducted from your security deposit.
DO YOU ALLOW DOGS?
We welcome well behaved four-legged adVANturers (a maximum of two pooches per booking). A surcharge of £30 (per hire) and conditions apply (see our Ts & Cs).
DO THE SEATS HAVE ISOFIX?
Unfortunately the seats do not have ISOFIX. We have non - ISOFIX baby and child seats for hire, in the event that your own child seats are incompatible with the campervan.
HOW DOES INSURANCE WORK?
The rental cost covers the fully comprehensive insurance of the campervan for the duration of the rental. Our insurance provider covers drivers holding a full licence between the ages of 25 and 70 (exclusions apply). Our Ts & Cs detail excesses and requirements from the provider. We will require proof of your driving licence and address prior to the commencement of your holiday.
DO I NEED A UK DRIVING LICENCE?
Our insurance provider accepts licences from the UK and EU, but please contact us to discuss if your licence is issued from elsewhere so that we can make enquiries with our insurance provider.
CAN WE ARRANGE COLLECTION FROM A STATION OR AIRPORT?
We will do our best to accommodate a request of this nature, but cannot guarantee it. If the meeting point is within 15 miles of our premises, this will be a complimentary service. Collections further afield are chargeable (for example meeting at Newquay Airport is £20 for collection/ drop-off only or £35 for both collection and drop off). Please contact us to discuss your requirements prior to booking. The closest railway stations to our premises are Redruth and Hayle.
